Isabella Marie Sanders

Hey! I’m Isabella, a fifteen year old from South Florida! I am an honors student, photographer, dancer, and advocate. It is my mission to leave my footprint on the world, whether that be through my Not-For-Profit organization, Bella Waters, or by sharing my love for the arts with as many people as possible. In my free time, you can catch me on the ocean, watching hockey and football, or dancing.

Bella Waters

Bella Waters is a Not-For-Profit organization that aims to educate and advocate for clean oceans, ensuring our finned, flippered, and filtering friends have a safe habitat to grow up in. I started this organization in 2021, and have devoted countless hours since, doing everything in my power to spread awareness and take action on ocean conservation.

I have had the honor of attending and volunteering at the Guy Harvey Foundation’s annual gala for the past 3 years. As the GHF’s pilot teen ambassador, I am eager to take the next step into sharing the importance of saving our waters. I have plans to work with the GHF team on an education program that I can bring into schools and share with the next generation. More to come in the future!

Aside from consistently attending and planning beach cleanups, Bella Waters is approaching the $1000 goal to purchase marine tags! The end goal is to tag as many rays, sharks, and sea turtles as possible. Tags help provide information for future marine research, and in general, provide us with an understanding of patterns and habits that sea creatures follow.

Service with a Smile

My passion for community service has not stopped with Bella Waters. Since I was a little girl, I have been an active participant in community service. Over the years I have learned that contributiong to your community is KEY to building character. I know not everyone is as passionate about ocean conservation as I am, however everyone should have a chance to pursue a passion through community service. This is where Service with a Smile originated. I use this as a hub to promote different community service projects and organizations, to inspire and educate others about starting their own service project, and to promote my Service with a Smile podcast.

The mission of my podcast is to highlight someone who has truly done an outstanding job at making an impact on the world through service. It is easy to lose track of the “why” behind helping your community. So, I am determined to feature guests that will inspire others to think about their “why”.
